Since graduating from RADA in 2010, James Norton has enjoyed a stellar career in theatre, television and film. In 2016 alone, he played Prince Andrei in BBC’s acclaimed War and Peace, the pyschopathic rapist Tommy Lee in the second series of Sally Wainwright’s Happy Valley, and the Reverend Sydney Chambers in the second series of ITV’s Grantchester. On the London stage, he starred in the American play Bug.
In 2017, James appeared in 2 films: Hampstead with Diane Keaton and a remake of the 1991 thriller Flatliners, produced by Michael Douglas. A third series of Grantchester was followed by a highly acclaimed 8-part BBC series called McMafia - a story of global gang war - and a return to the stage in Belleville at the Donmar Warehouse. A second series of McMafia has now been confirmed.
